This Privacy Policy explains what information the kosu app ("kosu", "we") processes and how it is used. kosu is an app for discovering, creating and joining local events.

Information we process

Depending on how you use kosu, we may process:

• Email address
• Username and display name
• City
• Bio
• Content you create: events and comments
• Events you have joined
• Reports you submit
• Users you have blocked
• Technical data needed for authentication and security (for example, access tokens and request metadata)

How we use this information

• To register and sign you in
• To show and update your profile
• To create and display events
• To let you join events
• To enable comments inside events
• For safety: reports, blocking and content moderation
• To provide user support

Your choices and controls

• You can delete your account directly in the app, at any time.
• You can report an event or a comment.
• You can block another user.
• Content may be hidden after moderation review.

What kosu does not do

• kosu does not use advertising tracking.
• kosu does not request precise location permission.

Data retention and deletion

When you delete your account, your profile and personal data are removed. Some information may be retained for a limited period where required for legal, security or abuse-prevention reasons.
